Health information affects real decisions, so we hold ourselves to clear standards. This page explains how Master Vitality researches, writes, reviews, and updates its content.
Who writes our content
Articles are researched and written by the Master Vitality editorial team. We are health writers, not doctors, and we say so openly. Our job is to translate published research into plain language for adults over 50 — not to diagnose, treat, or replace your healthcare provider.
How we choose sources
- We rely on peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, and public health institutions such as the NIH, CDC, and WHO.
- We prefer human studies over animal or cell studies, and large or randomized trials over small or observational ones. When evidence is early or mixed, we say so.
- Every article lists its main sources at the end, with links wherever the study is publicly accessible.
- We do not use press releases, product marketing, or testimonials as evidence.
What we will not do
- Promise cures, guaranteed results, or quick fixes.
- Use fear-based headlines or claims that “doctors don’t want you to know.”
- Tell you to stop or change any medication. Those decisions belong with your doctor.
Reviews and updates
Each article shows a “Last reviewed” date. We revisit articles when important new research is published, and we fix errors as soon as we confirm them. If an update changes a key conclusion, we note it in the article.
Advertising and affiliate links
Master Vitality may earn money through affiliate links or advertising. This never decides what we write or what the evidence says. We only recommend products we believe are reasonable for our readers, we disclose affiliate relationships, and we will not describe any supplement or product as a cure.
